# Designing a spinner

Today in maths we were focusing on chance and data.  for example there is a 5 % chance Melbourne victory will win the a-league.     We made three spinners. 1 even one . And 2 un-even ones. We had to make the even one as even as possible. And we spun them all 10 times each and we could see how even they were. My results:

My first un-even one landed on the red twice and the white eight times.

My even one landed on the red five times and the white 5 times. (Proved even)

My second un-even one landed on the red once and the white nine times.

Then we tested other people’s spinners. First I tested Georgie’s and she claimed that her spinner landed on the red twice and the white eight times. And she was………………… correct.

Then Oli. A claimed that his spinner landed on the red once and the white nine times. And I recorded that it landed one the red twice and the white eight times.

Then will. R claimed that his was even and landed on each colour five times. And I tested and I recorded that…………… It landed on each five times.

So that’s what we did in maths today. See you later people.
