Week 7 Robotics

This week we worked on colour sensors.

Our group worked amazingly physically and mentally. The reason I say that is because we found out the correct pieces and attached the in the right spot. (well what we think it’s right😜). I say we worked well mentally because we used our knowledge to complete the tasks.

The challenge was difficult but we worked  hard and figured it out. Take that challenge😃! The task was to make our robot  go in a square. We also had to make sure I didn’t touch the piece of paper.

This is our robot about to attempt the challenge.

We finished it! 😀😜

We had fun! 😊

Robotics Session 6

This week we worked on the touch sensor.

Our robot was being quite annoying so we got Mr Colbert’s help and he… FIXED IT! 😊😉

So our next challenge for our group was to complete the following tasks,

  • program the robot to go strait until it touches our hand.
  • Program the robot to move forward until it touches the edge of a wall. When it touches the wall we had to make it back up then turn 90 degrees.

Our group completed the first task then we moved on to the second one and we accomplished the challenge. I think our group struggled a lot at the start but then we finished it in the end.

Here is some of our codes.

We had soooooo much fun. 😜😉
