pull apart desighn project

these week on design we are pulling apart different pieces of tech and seeing what is inside them so this is what i pulled apart

 

this i all of the pieces together  this was hard because i had to cut wires and destroy things to get to this

here are the parts

as you can see there are a lot of little parts that made this thing work and this was the most chaleging part because they went every where

yep this is how it worked these two pillars made paper plastic but how did these work you might wonder

yep these two metal things make the pillars spin with plastic over them these things work by this:

this is the code for the hot potato game this took a while

what I would do next to this  would try to make the raw motor faster so it is harder to hold on to

this is the java code for the toss game

what I would do to this next I would change the sounds to different sounds

mini golf

this is my plan for mini golf I am using micro bit humming bird and neopixel feather wing

This is my new plan and what I am hoping to finish in the next few weeks

This is what it looks like so far;

The first part we have made can hold up to 6 people!

Picture here is the second part of the mini golf course with the spiral.

As you can see, there is a chair under the spiral to hold it up. This is because we are trying to make a second platform to connect the spiral and where there is going to be the hole.

Below is the code for the wind mill made with lego;

YES! it is simple but it is just moving a wind mill.

We are hoping to make this wind mill go one way then the other, this will make it even more of a challenge but still possible.

this is my project

the thing in the blue is a ultra sonic sensor that when it detects a wall or something it will stop or move forward or turn around

the thing in purple are the large motors that make the robot move

the thing in the red is a ball bearing it makes the robot move left or right a bit smoother

the thing in the green is the cords that make the sensors or motors work

Lego EV3 Challenge #1

What will you make?

My initial goal is to…….

make my robot move 70 speed forward and then when the ultra sonic sensor senses something 5 cm away it will stop and then  move 180 degrees and go forward

great ocean road makey makey project

 

 

 this is my project now

but  wish I did more props around the road but other then that I think it turned out not that bad

i wasnt really thinking that it would look like this from only being two and a bit hours of me doing this but it has it all it has sea facts it house the terrain around it facts and it has of course the road facts

well if i ever needed to use this i would probaly use it on a road trip on the great ocean road

if I could do something next on this I would make more abstract and have more props

on this journey i had a few mistacks like how the cardboard did not match like I cut it wrong a few times and the makey makey code was not working  but i kept on going that has been my jorney
