Beetle blocks and 3D Printing

For these three weeks, we will be doing beetle blocks.

#1Hexagons

Our first task was to make a hexagon

this is the code for the hexagon. The start excruding block is telling it to draw thick lines. The repeat is telling it to repeat the code inside 7 times.  The move 2 block is telling the beetle to move forward 2 spaces. The rotate z block is telling it to rotate the z-axis by the division block. (explanation of block below)

this is a picture of the hexagon.

This is an explanation of the code and picture above

#2 the Z and X-axis

Our second task was to play with the Z and X-axis tho see what we could create.

This is a picture of me stacking some hexagons.

this is me playing with the z-axis. As you can see it is multiple hexagons stacked.

(code won’t upload😥)          but its pretty simple code. I just took the hexagon code and changed the z-axis around.

#3 Turtle art

this is one of the tasks that i found harder, but eventually came up with something pretty simple. I used different pen sizes and colours.

Here is the one I came up with.

#4 The division block

this is the division block. Its job is to divide numbers it is another variable block.
