Film school Reflection

At the start of the year we did a unit called film school witch went till week 5. In film school, I enjoyed all the clinics because you have to learn all about the things that you will be learning this year.

My favourite clinic would be the camera angles. Because you have to learn all about the different angles and we have to test what we had learnt about angles in the enviro garden. Like take a photo of a plant or take a photo of an inset.

The thing I took away from the clinics was the adobe premiere pro that is the editing software that we use if I did not learn that I would not be able to edit our films. And I could not be able to have a film.

My biggest challenge in film school would be having all of the blog posts that we had to do. Because after every clinic we would have to do a blog post. Last year we did not have to do as many.

I am happy of doing blog posts.

If I was the teacher I would change nothing I am happy of how film school runs.

Year 6 Term 1 reflection

Year 6 term 1

This year has gone so fast because we have had cross country district swimming and 5,6 lighting carnival witch was fun because it was washed out last year.

This term we have had the Opportunity to do lots of things like in inquiry we all made an instructional film my group made a how to play better tennis film. First, we had to plan which was 60% filming was 15% and editing was 25%. it was bad because our group filmed all of it put all the sound was muffled so we had to do a voice over for all of the speaking.

My favourite thing this term was the lighting carnival, which was held, at school we played other schools.I have learnt many things but my favourite thing would be learning how to use the adobe programs like Photoshop.

The challenge this term would be having to do a lot more blog posts because we did not have to do that many last year.
