I made three more level to my game. I’ve got 5 levels I added a few I still want to make five to seven more, the one on the right is my third level I made it harder by pudding little black dots and the people playing will think it’s not there so they will run into them and die. The one on the left was an accidently gun to start of with so I made look like a proper gun and put a scope on the top and put a trigger on it aswell. Then put lines and little black dots to confuse people. It’s really tight and hard to get through all of the lines but I can do it, in the middle is my fifth level is really tight and tricky to get through. You can’t probably see this it’s the buttom right corner but if you can you can put your mouse on the place where you want to put your sprite. I’m going to continue with this.

In the future I want to make a massive maze game. The reason why I started because I saw someone watching a tutourial video so I got an idea about a maze game. I watched the video and got heaps of ideas what how to make a maze game. It’s going to have heaps of levels and it’s going to be heaps of fun, I’ve already got 4 levels i’m aiming to get to about 12. I’m having alot of trouble to work out how to make it go to different levels. My favourite bit is making the levels because you can change them if there to hard, I hope to continue in the future with this maze game, when i’m done with this I think I will do donkey kong or pacman.

I’m currently making a maze with heaps of levels and heaps of fun. I used a toturial video to help me and get me started with something new, I was really suprised how you can make a maze game. Choose your colour as a backround and get a square and another make sure it’s the same colour and join them together then improve your maze game with advancing the difficulty like my level 2 I personally think it’s to hard but I will maybe change it. I thought it will be to hard to make a maze game at first and tried to get the experts to help me which helped alot but look how much i’ve gotten so far when I started a week ago.

This is my first time learning scratch. I thought it was fun and interesting and a new experience for most people but some have played scratch before. Our teacher Mr Mckie emailed it to us and showed us toutourial videos to get us started. We clicked on scratch and I thought how can I do this how would people know this, but it turned out to be really fun. I started to create sprites as well as draw some sprites, making people and objects. You can make it move and talk by recording a voice to make it sound and look like the person is really saying something. All of us thought it was really fun and hope we can do it soon.

This is my new scatch, is has been fun learning how to make games and learning how to use scratch. While I was in the middle of completing my last one I had a great idea why not do a running race, it’s hard but i’ts fun and a new experince for me, I started to learn how to use nearly all the things to make it walk and talk by using the movement buttons sound buttons and heaps of other buttons. I had to get a backround for my running race people the server had different characters and different actions, I’ll try to make you can pick your own character I don’t know how. I thought to do my own background, which was a sky and a finish which worked out well. I have learnt alot since my first. My work is not complete but it is halve way done.

We had the expo yesterday it was a great success. All of the primary came to see the amazing Rude Goldberg Machine even the kindergarden came to watch the awesome machines in the mezz. The mezz is six rooms combined and it’s stacked with machines. We had to come early to set up but there was only three people there, they were in a other room.  The door was to small for our machine, when we got the machine through we had 4 people helping. It took 5 minutes to wait for them to help and it was still hard but we managed to get it through, everyone started to come and ake their machines ready for the expo. I could barely see my group it was crowded, people from kindergarden started to see what we have done in the last 3 weeks they kept asking about the Rude Goldberg project. Our machine worked sometimes and sometimes it didn’t work, we took a little break and started to look around to see what other groups have done it was fantastic some groups have produced drinks and played music. The day past by the minute and the day was over you had a choice if you wanted to stay and show your machine to  teachers from other schools. The day was fun.

We have finally finished our Rude Goldberg Machine. After weeks of frustrating building, sweat and tears, sometimes it doesn’t work but most times it works. We took it up to the exhitition in the mezzaine to show everyone including all of the other groups and all of the middle school will be coming to see it. We had heaps of trouble trying to get it up to the mezzaine, boxes fell of and heaps of k’nex fell off as well and the worst thing is there was loads of doors we had to get through it was way to small for our massive Rude Goldberg Machine. I’m really exicted about the exhition.

This is our group k’nex frame. It’s one of the most important piecies, it holds our Rude Goldberg machine so it’s really relible and stable. We started to make a pattern when began building the frame, we had four red connecters and one white thing to connect red together and we followed that strategy and it’s worked very well for us because we had no major problems so far.

This is our new plan of our Rude Goldberg project. We have changed it alot because nothing was working for us which is a shame because we had heaps of good ideas but it must be to hard for our group well its definitely to hard for me. We have built a base out of k’nex it was tricky because heaps of groups wanted to of the K’nex and piecies were running out but we managed to do it. Then got carboard on the top of the base, if we just left it there with no materials to hold down, that’s why we used little piecies of carboard to put under the top of the K’nex base then put screws to make it stable and firm. Even though  we had some problems and it’s being very frustrating it’s still being fun. I reckon we doing a good job of building this new Rude Goldberg project.

All of the grade has been working a Rude Goldberg Machine project. Our teacher put us all in groups of 3, I thought I had one of the best groups because I had people that were my friends and our group was really organised, we have four cupboards of materials like boxes, home made stuff, milk cartons, bottles and heaps of other materials to list. Like nearly every plan we had some problems to fix, none of the groups were allowed to use sticky tape, that changed our plan alot because we wanted to start of our Rude Goldberg machine plan up high so we thought of some ideas but then our group thought it will be much easier to start of low and not use some of the start of the plan, plus the teacher told us to make our Rude Goldberg plan that was simple. This was a pretty good idea because we would have to use a micarle for it to work. We haven’t finished it yet, were only at the start.
